When Texas State University – San Marcos needed a Lab solution that was a cross-campus extension of their Main Library, they turned to Computer Comforts, Inc. again to design, manufacture and install custom Active Learning Clusters for their newly remodeled “TechSpot” Lab. This open Lab will serve the needs of students on the opposite side of campus from the Main Library so study and collaboration needs can be achieved in a convenient and smaller venue. This campus-supported area has a quiet-study room, along with the larger Collaborative Space, where the students can easily re-charge their devices at the Power Core of the Active Learning Clusters. These tables also offer plenty of social distancing between students and open knee-space underneath for comfort.
