Training & Professional Development Lab (BTC 1033)
Optimized as a high-tech professional development hub for the Centers for Online Learning and Professional Excellence, this advanced training lab blends specialized media furniture with an ultra-connected AV infrastructure. The space is anchored by a front-of-room 98” interactive display and a standard 5-input Crestron architecture, allowing instructors to route content or manage independent breakout sessions with ease. For hands-on instruction, four perimeter tables extend from the walls to create team pods—each equipped with four fixed Windows PCs and a large-format display (three 98” and one 86”). Complementing these stations is a central collaborative furniture pod supported by a built-in power bank for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) users, creating a highly versatile environment where faculty and staff can master modern digital pedagogy.
