Demergasso Bava Hall is the latest building on-campus at California State University, Stanislaus. The classrooms were chosen based on purposeful sampling because the classroom technology and learning services team are on-site in the same area. The University upgraded the furniture in these HyFlex classrooms, moving from old stationary furniture to Computer Comfort’s mobile Koi Tables and Active Guest Chairs. In HyFlex courses, students are offered the flexibility to attend virtually (synchronously) or in person. These specialized classrooms, used primarily by CSU’s College of Arts and Humanities, now enable the students to work collaboratively in various sized groups while also having the option to work at a distance.
