University of Houston, Downtown

This Active Learning lab at University of Houston, Downtown (Northwest Campus) utilized our very versatile KOI-design tables, with fixed height legs on casters. There are also some tables with adjustable height legs mixed in for ADA compliance. The goal of this lab design was the meeting the customer’s need to easily group different numbers of students in different configurations for collaboration and Instructor inclusion. The tables feature a handy backpack hook underneath, and the heavy duty lockable casters assure a simple table re-arrangement at any time. The chair-of-choice was a comfortable mesh-back task chair with fabric seat, swivel tilt, on a star caster base. Versatility and flexibility is the theme for this Lab!
