This is Learning Research Studio - AH 1112 at San Diego State University. The LRS spaces are designed to foster effective teaching and to support initiatives on campus that encourage active learning. The University selected our Active Learning Clusters for this space to implement SCALE-UP or Active Learning teaching methods encouraging interactive, cooperative learning. Three groups of 2-3 students cluster around the “power core” which was customized for use with Extron and Dell hardware. The cantilevered table top design also provides increased legroom for optimal student comfort.
